The origins of this wine cellar go back to the 70s when its owner, Enrique Mendoza, started to take an interest in the world of wine. The family-owned company was then established in 1989.

The Chapí Theatre can be found in the town of Villena in Alicante province and is dedicated to the town’s most distinguished son, Ruperto Chapi. The theatre itself consists of a large building of classical design with Moorish Revival touches, built in 1925 and subsequently reformed in 1999.
