The Chapí Theatre can be found in the town of Villena in Alicante province and is dedicated to the town’s most distinguished son, Ruperto Chapi. The theatre itself consists of a large building of classical design with Moorish Revival touches, built in 1925 and subsequently reformed in 1999.
The building is one of the most beautiful in the town and has seating for 864. The theatre offers a year-long programme of dance, opera, zarzuela and plays. A space that forms part of the Alicante Wine Route that has the added attraction of shows and tasting sessions of the wines of Alicante with culture as the perfect accompaniment.
