Since 1839, seven generations of owners in the heart of the Camp d’Elx have kept El Tendre Oil Mill running as if it were another member of the family and each generation has transmitted the traditional art of olive oil making to their offspring. Throughout all this time the company has always been faithful to the spirit of traditional oil preparation, to the extent that until 1990 workers used the old presses to grind the olives and the oil was bottled by hand.
