Vermut experience among Millenary olive trees

We will visit the place with the highest concentration of monumental olive trees in the world, in the heart of the Maestrazgo, walking through fields where real wooden giants have been living across centuries, a symbol of the Mediterranean culture.

Then, we will move on to a traditional olive grove where these trees have been carefully cultivated for generations to produce this liquid gold called Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

In the light of the full moon and under the spectacular Millenary Olive Trees we propose an unforgettable evening where we will evoke myths, legends and stories about the great symbol of the Mediterranean: the olive tree.  We will accompany you with micro tastings of different cultures in a gastronomic journey through time associated with the fruit of the olive tree. Egyptians, Phoenicians, Greeks, Iberians, Muslims, Romans...and a fabulous concert of classic pieces for piano and cello.

Enjoy getting to know the world of EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

Finca Varona la Vella, family owned for 4 generations, is located in the municipality of Sant Mateu, about 2 km from the town center, situated on the slope of the mountain La Bastida, at an average altitude of 370 meters above sea level, southwest facing and with an area of about 18 hectares, of which 12 hectares are dedicated to olive cultivation.

Brunch amid millenary olive trees and visit to Sant Climent's oil mill

Farmer's lunch amid millenary olive trees, where you can taste wine and olive oil from the Sant Climent winery while pairing them with local products. Tomatoes with onion harvested the very same morning, rustic bread baked in a wood-fired oven, sausages and Catalan botifarra with tomato, potato omelette, seasonal fruit and wine chosen for the occasion. The activity ends with a visit to the mill and the second tasting of cheeses, olive oils and wines.
