The Royal Monastery of La Santísima Trinidad in Valencia is an old monastery site that is still being used for its original purpose today. It was founded by Queen María of Castile, the wife of King Alfonso V "El Magnánimo" (The Magnanimous).
Built on the site of an old mosque, the church of San Esteban has the typical layout of Valencia's Gothic period parish churches, with a single nave and chapels between the buttresses. However, the church underwent major Baroque style alterations during the 17th century. Its outward appearance is very plain, featuring buttresses topped by gargoyles that jut out from the smooth wall, a simple doorway leading onto Plaza de San Esteban and the bell tower standing alongside.
The Corpus Museum, also known as "Casa Museo Las Rocas", is in the city of Valencia. The museum is based in the old Casa de las Rocas and in an adjoining building that was recently restored to house part of the museum collection.

El Parador de El Saler, in Valencia, is located in the heart of the Natural Park, one of the most important wetlands in Europe. It is a strategic site on migratory routes, and the nesting site of various bird colonies.
The Albufera Natural Park has a natural heritage together with La Dehesa (Mediterranean forest located between the Albufera and the sea) and the beach of Saler. This area is home to around 390 species throughout the year in the different ecosystems of the Park.
The Royal Palace was one of the most iconic buildings in Valencia, residence of monarchs from Jaume I until it was demolished in March 1810 by order of the Military Defence Junta to prevent it being used by the French army in their attack on the city. Its memory has been kept alive in the name of the gardens that once surrounded it, now known as Viveros or Jardines del Real.
The Catedral de Santa María (Cathedral of Santa María) in València, popularly known as La Seu, is the headquarters of the Archbishop of València and it was the wish of King Jaime I that it should be dedicated to the Assumption of Mary. It was consecrated in 1238 by the first Bishop of València following the Reconquest, Fr. Andrés de Albalat.
