Built in 1896, this chateau-style house-vineyard is nestled among the vines of Villargordo del Cabriel, in the heart of the nature park of Las Hoces del Cabriel. The interior of the building has a central nave at ground level and two side buildings with thick walls that act as insulation, making the interior a unique space for creating great wines, with the perfect temperature and humidity. Conditions to match its capacity for creating exceptional wines.
The production process is traditional, using gravity as the only force of traction, varying to adapt to the demands of each harvest, with an annual maximum of 9000 bottles of Las Mercedes and a very limited production, in exceptional years, of Esencia.
Our visits are held from Monday to Sunday, holidays included, and last for around 60 minutes. They are available in Spanish and English. The visit includes a tasting session and consists of a tour of the cellar, vineyards and the underground cava that dates from 1800.
