Casa Rural Garrido lies in the heart of the old district of the town of Ademuz. Its origins go back to the 18th century, although it was renovated at the end of the 20th when the decision was made to create a centre for rural tourism. After the major restoration work, a number of old manuscripts were discovered and some ancient parts of the complex were kept to provide further value and authenticity to the house.
The interior of the building maintains its original rustic decor, although Casa Rural Garrido has all the amenities and comforts that any guest might need. Somewhere to lose yourself amongst narrow streets, surrounded by nature in a perfect medieval setting that lets you reconnect with the natural world.
Ademuz is now one of the few areas left that still maintains its natural rural surroundings. Visitors can also enjoy traditional local gastronomy, sample the "manzana esperiega" (a local apple) grown in this region and other handmade products from the region.
The restaurant at the house offers traditional regional cuisine, it also has a bar and reading room with a piano and fireplace. It has 7 rooms: the castle, the shield, the eagle, the ship, the hunter, the deer and the mill (the names come from events experienced by the family).
