Like almost all good projects, MRK - Montgorock born from below and has been growing, step by step, learning in each of them.

On the shores of the Mediterranean in the bay of Jávea, MRK has positioned itself as one of the leading music festivals and lifestyle. The connection between the environment, gastronomy and MRK design makes the perfect event to kick off the summer season. In its seven editions Montgorock growth, it has been slow but steady, doubling assistance since it celebrates the outdoors, to accommodate 16,000 people in its 2019 edition.

It was conceived in 2015 not only to be a meeting of national and international bands coming from garage and rock, but to establish an exchange relationship between record labels of the independent scene of the United States and underground musical stamps of the national territory.

Currently, it is a festival that links the best of the Spanish and North American underground scene, with the ability to create business and artistic synergies in the long-term musical landscape.

Throughout its 10 years, Spring Festival has managed to position itself as the reference Alicante festival during the spring for lovers of the national independent scene. Indie, pop, rock and electronics meet at a festival that in this edition fulfilled its total renovation. With Baltimore productions as a unique organization, the spirit of Low Festival returned to Alicante in May with its more spring and young version.

Charming Hotel Masía La Mota is set alongside Font Roja Nature Reserve, in a privileged location with stunning views. This old country house has been refurbished and restored for its owners to live in and to share their wild, rural surroundings with guests, offering quality accommodation in a private, open and exclusive setting.

Near the town of Agost, in the province of Alicante, there is an internationally significant stratigraphic outcrop consisting of a sequence of marls and clays in which the transit between the Cretaceous and Paleogene Periods is recorded.
