The Latin Fest, which is preparing to celebrate its fourth edition next Saturday, July 4, was born to respond to the huge demand by the public of a large event dedicated to urban sounds, in the third city of the State, and that I was also attentive to the latest generation Latin sounds. Since 2017,
Latin Fest is an event that has established itself as one of the first appointments at the state level within the festivals of its branch. The enormous strength that both the Castilian - with respect to English - and urban music (trap, reggaeton, dembow, dancehall or r'n'b) are starring in recent seasons, calling into question the primacy that traditional Anglo-Saxon genres once held and the exclusionary cultural models that encourage some foreign administrations, is an unappealable fact.
A trend that has no turning back. The deliveries of great musical awards and the performances that some of its figures offer in musical and sporting events of great international projection, followed by millions of people through different media, are a good test.
