With more than 3,000 students per year of more than 80 different nationalities, Hispania, escuela de español is nowadays a worldwide reference in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Not only has our school been accredited by Instituto Cervantes, but also by EAQUALS, Excellence in Language Education. Besides, after having won the ST Star Award for five years straight (2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 & 2015), we have the honour to be appointed as SuperStar Spanish School, which is the most important reward in the educational travel industry, i.e. we have been elected by experts among all Spanish schools from Spain and Latin America. We have also been appointed as “World Language School of the Year” during the last consecutively three years (2019-20, 2018-19, and 2017-2018) at the iStudy Global Awards; and we have won 5 awards at the 2019 Excellence Education Awards, where we received a special mention in “The Best Spanish Language School in Spain.” In 2020 we have won the 2020 Business Excellence Award.
Founded in 2002, Hispania, escuela de español has its own teaching method, Hispania Method, based on the conversation for acquiring language skills, where the student plays a leading role in communication. The philosophy of the method takes the mistake as the key principle underlying the learning process, which generates an excellent atmosphere for stimulating the students’ involvement in the lesson, with no fear to make a mistake. The Hispania Method allows students to learn at their own pace each year, as they can benefit from the maximum flexibility by choosing their preferred days and schedules for their classes between five different times for each level per day, and the possibility to start their courses whenever they like. Furthermore, our school offers a very rich activity program which includes culture, sports, gastronomy, and leisure to suit everyone’s like.
Our campus consists of three different buildings, recognised as part of the cultural heritage of Valencia, with 30 classrooms, terraces, a cinema, a library, a lounge area, and a cafeteria. Undoubtedly, it is a unique atmosphere in an ideal destination to live the Spanish language, as the city of Valencia has been selected for three years straight as the best city in the world to live by TIME magazine, taking into account factors such as quality of life, weather, beaches, culture, and gastronomy.
