The Masía el Parral is lodged in the heart of the Natural Park of the Sierra de Mariola, on the frontier between the provinces of Valencia and Alicante, 12 km away from the medieval village of Bocairent, and Alcoy, a town called the city of bridges.
The house was built in 1768. It was a farmhouse for several families who worked on the land. The building was completely restored in 2004.
The Masía has everything you need to make you feel at home, with a large kitchen with cooking facilities for guests, a large dining room, a lounge with fireplace and views onto the patio, and seven rooms that can be double triple or quadruple, each one with a complete private bathroom.
We have a barbecue, laundry service (for long stays) and free Wi-Fi. The house can be rented as one unit or by rooms, depending on client demand.
Next to the Masía is our hermitage of San Tomás de Villanueva, an ideal place for small religious celebrations.
In summer you can also enjoy a mountain pool with beautiful views of the Sierra de Mariola. We use renewable energies such as solar and wind power and the water is sourced from nearby.
We have a stud farm of thoroughbred Spanish horses that we feed with forage grown on the estate. You're invited to come with us and feed our horses. We also offer homemade meals typical of the region, prepared by our own cook.
